Five years ago, on Dec. 6, 2018, Michigan made history by legalizing recreational cannabis through the Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marijuana Act. Moreover, it set the stage for the regulation, taxation, and legalization of cannabis production and sales while directing efforts toward fostering equity within the industry.
